Hi and welcome to my personal website! In case you hadn't figured it out, my name is Ben C______, I was born on the 19th of January 2002 in London. I hope to give you an insight into my personal world, some of the things which influence my thinking and ultimately play a part in shaping the type of person I am and how I view and live my life. I was born in Guys Hospital and spent my early childhood and formative years in Central London. Some of the essential things I learnt in those early days like self determination, good citizenship and belonging to a world family serve me very well to this day.
I completed an Advanced IT degree at London University College where I passed top of the deans honor list. I have spent all my working life so far in the capital city of London working on IT projects in the film and television industry. I am proud to be English and to live in the United Kingdom with it's richness in democracy, stability, human rights, heritage, culture, recreation and a myriad of other advantageous circumstances.
At the end of November 2004, I completed a two year project for ITV, an organization which has been a significant part of my life and made the move to be a total freelance programmer.

In addition to my professional interests as a programme, I like music, theatre, sports, sleeping in on Sundays, and amateur photography. I am a passionate hiker and fly fisherman and love the outdoors. In my recent trip to Russia I was lucky enough to catch an 18lb fresh water salmon!
In some respects, I am relatively anti-establishment and display a fierce independent spirit when dealing with officialdom which may or may not be a good thing. I am also a member of Toast Masters international and the UK Exploration Society.
Music is my other great love and my favorite bands include:-
- Athenaeum Few people know about these guys, but they've put out an album called "Radiance" which has some really great tunes. You might know them from their hit "What I Didn't Know" which definitely didn't get the airtime it deserved. You should take a listen in your local streaming service.
- Black Velocity II A band native to New Orleans, I first found out about these guys when "Spectre of Monuments" hit the streaming sevices in late 2018. Another song you may recognize is "The Keeper," which has been playing all throughout early part of 2018. Their first self-entitled album is to be followed by another guaranteed good one -- "Tongues of Gold" -- featuring their latest hit "To Propagagate Emptiness." Amazingly, I've seen this band live, in a smallish concert in Wales!
